Positions open for 2019-2020 PTSA Board

The BHS PTSA has elected Natalie Hanson for VP Of Events for the 2019-2020 Executive Board. We have the following positions still open:
President: OPEN
Secretary: OPEN
Treasurer: OPEN
VP of Resources: OPEN
VP of Communication: OPEN
VP of Programs: OPEN
 Please email president@bhsptsa.com if you would like to hold one of these positions on the board. It’s a great way to get involved at the high school but without as much time as you’d commit in Middle/Elementary school.

Special Presentation (no business meeting) Nov 14 from 6 pm – 7 pm We have a guest speaker Gina F who will present on Identifying and Coping with Teen Anxiety. This event is sponsored by Bothell High PTSA. Please join us from 6 pm – 7 pm in the Bothell High School Library! There will be a 30 min presentation and 30 min for Q&A.

Nick of Time Screening Volunteers, Nov 6

We would love your help with PTSA this year!   We are looking for parents to help with Staff Appreciation and Back-To-School Breakfast in late August,  Pass – the-Hat Fundraiser on Curriculum night, Reflections chair/co-chair, President, Secretary and Treasurer as well as Vice-President of Communications, Vice President of Resources, Social Networks,  BHS Wish List, Advocacy, Business Supporters,  and Volunteer Coordinator.  Thank you.

For Parent Link Day, August 26, we will give tours during the Back-To-School Fair, and we need a team of seasoned BHS parents to answer incoming parent questions. We will need help giving tours of the facilities, and connect with other parents and staff. Pass the Hat Fundraiser is now going on

The ONE and ONLY PTSA fundraiser the entire school year. All donations are greatly appreciated as the PTSA tries to reach a goal of $10,000!

 On Curriculum Night, Thursday, Oct 3, we will Pass-the-Hat!!!  We are hoping to raise $10,000 to support PTSA programs & activities and we need YOUR help to do it! The suggested donation amount is $45 per family, but we will gratefully accept any amount! The are some programs funded with your donations:

Staff Appreciation Emergency Prep Supplies Scholarships/InvestEd
Reflections Art Program Teacher Grants and Wish Lists Senior Big Bash

You can donate online, too – no PayPal account necessary! Every dollar counts and every dollar goes DIRECTLY towards funding to support the students and staff here at BHS.  Visit the Pass the Hat page to make your tax-deductible donation online or to learn more about the programs & activities your donations support!

Bothell High School is in need of items to be better prepared for emergencies, as well as items to help our teachers and staff with their class needs, and you can help!  The Emergency Preparedness Committee is requesting emergency mylar thermal blankets and other items. Our teachers and staff have a wish list as well. Both can be found on our wish list.
